Last Friday, I was working at The Quilted Forest and machine quilted a couple of panels to be used as shop samples. Check out this adorable Valentine panel by titled "LOVE" by Robert Kaufman.
I was so smitten I just had to bring one home for myself. (okay...so I actually brought home two) I decided that for my own project, I was just going to quilt it up very simply...and that's exactly what I did. I grabbed a ruler and my Clover Chaco Liner Pen and chalked a line diagonally from the upper left to the lower right corner of the panel. Layering my panel with batting and backing I sewed along that chalked line. Next I moved my ruler and chalked a line 2 inches from my initial line and sewed that. I kept that up on each side of my original line until the entire panel was completed!
I added a sleeve for hanging across the top on the back and I found some solid red fabric in my stash that matched to use for binding! And just like that it's TaDone!
